About

The app is a flashcard-style audio player designed for language learning. The primary learning is done through listening to the bilingual audiocards, where you can set the play sequence as it fits your learning curve.

In spite most apps, the learning process requires minimal interaction. You can use the time you spend on travel, commute, or physical work, and you can study just by listening to the audiocards.

Compared to other audio-based learning methods, like watching movies or listening to podcasts, the app allows you to chose how many times you want the audio be played before it starts playing the next audiocard, or how much pause you want to have to repeat the content for yourself. These details make a big difference on much new content you can take in, increasing your capacity learn more with the same amount of effort invested.

Vision

We want to grow into a marketplace of audiocards, where language teachers and other content creators can publish their own audiocard products and sell them as products or subscription-based services.

We already have an iOS app and content from three languages (English, Spanish and Hungarian) all from one language teacher who has a 10k+ follower base on Instagram. We have reached this state by working with freelancers and using our own time and money to build the app and the content as husband and wife.

To take the project to the next level, we need an investment that would enable us to work on the project full-time. We would then be able to take the app to other platforms also – web app and Android – and we could also progress with marketing – growing our content base through partners, covering more languages, and also grow our end-user base around the globe.
